WHF is developing a nationally released documentary addressing the first ever Missing Indigenous Persons Task Force of tribal members, which is creating a database for collecting information about missing Native women. In 2016, over 5,712 reports of slain or missing Native American women and girls were reported across the U.S., but only 116 of those cases were ever investigated.
